Marshall Parks and Trail Options
Marshall has seven city parks that provide a wide array of activities for the whole family to participate in throughout the entire year.  For information about Marshall's park facilities or to reserve a park shelter, contact Marshall Community Services at 537-6767.

More Camping, Parks and Trails Options

  • Camden State Park
    Just 10 miles southwest of Marshall, Camden offers much for visitors to enjoy.  Fish for brown trout in the Redwood River or bass and bluegill in Brawner Lake. Hike the trails, or cool off in the spring-fed pond.  Walk along the wooded river valley, climb the Dakota Valley Trail to the lookout for great fall colors, or canoe along the Brawner shoreline.
     

  • Garvin Park
    Located 13 miles south of Marshall on MN Highway 59, Garvin County Park has 700 acres of outdoor recreation for residents of all ages.
     

  • Lake Shetek State Park
    Lake Shetek is 33 miles south of Marshall near Currie, MN.  The 1175 acre park contains camping facilities, lake access and historical sites. 

Places to Eat
Not sure where to eat? Visit a local coffee shop or take advantage of courtyard dining. You can dine on gourmet food at a five-star restaurant or order delivery or take out. You can also make a quick trip to one of Marshall's many grocery stores or specialty food shops for a picnic in a park or just go out for ice cream.
